My Kindle can't seem to catch fire.
This has been a (mostly) great week! I did order the Kindle after all; however, I've had some problems. When it arrived on Wednesday, I couldn't get the wifi to work. Yay for tax refunds! I usually put half of mine in savings and splurge on something fun with the rest, though this time I'm depositing far more than half in my savings account. Last night, I went to see The Artist, and OMG I LOVED IT SO MUCH. Not only is it a marvelous film in its own right, but the experience of watching it is quite fascinating. Old Navy's vanity sizing is out of control. Those of who you've seen me can attest that I am definitely plus-sized. I have relatively trim legs and hip width, but -- thanks so much to Dad for the genetics -- I have quite a belly. Like, a second-trimester kind of belly. ;) Always had it, and I'm okay with that. A Time Zone Existential Crisis
Anderson and Kathy are currently ringing in the new year in NYC. I am an East Coaster, and my permanent residence is in EST. However, I am in Texas right now, where it is still 11:04pm on the last day of 2011.
