Hail, hail! The Games gang's all here!
My brain refuses to write a proper review of The Hunger Games, so I'm just going to do some assorted thoughts -- and I have a lot of 'em! Of course this has spoilers for the movie. I did include a few spoilers for the next two books, but they're vague, at the end, and clearly marked.

1. Smash has been a letdown, to say the least. Vulture is posting some utterly amazing and laugh-aloud recaps that rank up there with TWoP's heyday. Especially the stuff about Anjelica Huston as an immortal dark priestess.

Highs and Very Mild Lows
1. Good lord, I'm exhausted. I foolishly agreed to teach Saturday School again this morning. The program itself is pleasant enough -- remedial reading for the kids who need extra help -- but I'm not a fan of getting up at 6:30am on my day off. It compiles information on where various movies and TV shows are filming throughout the U.S. I have the Atlanta tag bookmarked, so I went over there last night to find out if The Walking Dead has started filming season three. Everything's coming up Hunger Games right now, and it's only going to get more ubiquitous as the premiere nears. No complaints here! Strange to see it get so huge, though. I'm pretty excited about the Oscars tonight. Yeah, I'm a sucker for awards shows, but there's still plenty to like about 'em. As I said before, I absolutely LOVED The Artist, so I look forward to it winning everything, complete with fabulous speeches in French accents.
