Five years is indeed a long time to not have written anything, and certainly enough time for my voice to have changed. I feel a sting when I read the first entry, that poke you get in your stomach that makes you feel disgusted whenever you come across someone who is naively hopeful. Well, it's the next day, and I'm still continuing to draw. Go figure. I actually was even amusing myself with the idea of setting up a little shop where people could bring in their best photo of themselves and I could draw it for them and call them when it's finished. I could even set up a delivery or mail service if they don't want to pick it up ( Read more... ) -

49. Hit and Miss.
Well, I finished the letter, and I WAS going to seal it with wax, but I didn't end up doing it. Besides, I only wrote it with a calligraphy marker. Real calligraphy, to me, would be done using my quill pen and my calligraphy ink. But oh well, I was satisfied with the end results, and that's all that matters, I suppose.
