Hurray! I finally made a perfect London Broil. I'm mostly writing this recipe here for me to refer back to, but I thought I'd post it for anyone else who'd like to give it a shot. If they keep him, it look like they picked a good Checkov. So far I'm very pleased with how this casting is going. Let's hope they keep up the good work with that AND have a good script.

I kind of don't even want to read the synopsis. I'd just like to be impressed with the cast and surprised (hopefully pleasantly) by the story.

Yay, I'm excited! I finally found a candidate that I can fully support! He may not have a chance of winning, but I'm glad that I'll feel good about the person I voted for instead of having to choose the lesser of two somewhat-but-not-really evils.

Hurray! I can finally run (jog, really) up and down my stairs at work and not have to catch my breath! My heart still goes at a pretty quick pitter-patter, but I don't feel like I'm gonna die any more. YAY!

So, I was starting to feel really good about the weight I was losing ... and then I went and tried on bridesmaid's dresses. Ugh. I'm still really fat!! However, to be fair, the dresses I was trying on probably wouldn't have looked good on me even if I was down to the weight I'd like. I only have one more pound to lose to be a quarter of the way to my ultimate weight loss goal! YAY! I think the other three quarters will take me about two years, but I sure hope it's sooner...

This is a cool little article about a kid in Malawi who made his own windmill for about $16. It produces enough energy for his home and some extra for people in his village.
