[Action][If there's one good thing about her line of work it's that it makes things like "You just got pulled into a different universe by a magic spell gone rogue" that much more plausible. After all she's already had her mind wiped once by a guy with weird mind powers and she's got a teammate from Mars. What's a little dimension hopping in the

[Woah. When did he suddenly get behind you? It's like he has that crazy voodoo appearing and disappearing magic that Robin has. Who knows.] I can help you if you have any questions or comments about this place. Instructor Grayson by the way. You can just call me Dick if you wish though.
[A pause.] By chance did you mention Gotham just now?

[She's used to the crazy ninja voodoo appearance thing by now so it doesn't phase her.]
Haven't really been here long enough to have any questions. If I think of any maybe I'll look you up. [Her lips quirk up into a smile, she really can't help it.] I bet you've heard all the jokes already so I won't bother. My name's Artemis.
[That's actually pretty reassuring.] I might have. What's it to you?
Reply
[She probably is.]
If you know where my classroom is, I'll usually be there. If not, I tend to frequent the training center and the cafeteria. [He laughs a little.] I'm used to the jokes, don't worry. They don't bother me all that much. A pleasure Artemis.
I'm from Gotham, so I guess I couldn't help but ask about it. I kind of miss it.

[At least he didn't do the laugh thing. So really his ninja thing isn't too bad so far.]
They don't exactly bother telling us where the classrooms are on here, but I can find my way to the training center or cafeteria easily enough. [She smiles, maybe this guy isn't so bad especially compared to some of the office people here.] The most you'll probably get out of me is the occasional "Don't be such a Dick" unless you do something to earn it.
Wait. [That catches her attention and fast.] You're from Gotham, too? Are there any others?
[Because if she's here and he's here there's a good chance that there are other people from Gotham (and by extension, her world) here too.]

[He doesn't do the silly giggle. He might give you a cheeky grin though.]
I can give you a tour after you finished memorizing the directory. I'm still reacquainting myself, but it looks like nothing has changed here at least. [Dick likes to be as friendly as possible.] Haha. I've heard that one a lot.
Yes. I have brothers who are here too. i know there's some others here, but I haven't talked to everyone here.
You'll most likely run into them, so don't worry.
Reply
[Cheeky grins are kind of something she's used to dealing with by now. Seriously have you seen her team? Well probably not, but that's not the point.]
Sure why not? Might as well if you want to look over everything too. Easier that way. [He doesn't seem so bad.] Bet you have.
You've got family here? Must be nice.
[She shrugs a little bit.]
Who said I was worried?

I can give you a quick tour and drop you off at the girl's dormitories so you can get settled in. Good plan, yes?
Yes. I haven't seen them for awhile. I just got back from a year trip out of here. I haven't even realized that much time has passed until I talk about it.
Didn't say you were. Just in case though. Got to cover all my bases right?
Reply
Decent plan, yes. [She smiles.] Guess I'll take you up on that. Thanks.
A year? That's a while to be gone, must have been an important trip.
Better safe than sorry, huh?

Just traveling. Wanted to pick up things from the other cities around here. But traveling by yourself gets a little lackluster when you're used to having people around.
Basically.

Guess it would be. [She takes a moment to think about her teammate before commenting again.] Adjusting to other people can be kind of hard, but once you do it's not the same being alone anymore.
[She'll never admit to this again. Ever. Yes, saying she doesn't miss anyone and then commenting about how it's not the same when you're aloe totally don't match up. No she probably won't admit to this hypocrisy or even talk about it if it's brought up.]

I'm a sociable sort, so adjusting to new people isn't terribly hard for me. It's just nice to have familiarity. I'm kind of glad to have some Gothamites around here.
[He's not going to bring it up. He's just going to point out places like the library and cafeteria and classrooms he might recognize.]
Reply
You're sociable? [She smirks a little bit, but there's no venom behind it.] I hadn't noticed.
[Which is for the bet, she probably would have just stomped off if he had. She takes careful notice of everything he points out, eyes making sure to scan each area as thoroughly as she can. Which is pretty thorough considering, but she's not super obvious about it unless someone focuses on just where her eyes are going.]

Oh no. I have trouble talking to everyone and take my job too seriously to indulge in sociable affairs.
[Dick is an observer himself. It's not like knowing whether she's being thorough or not will make him think any differently anyways.] That's. [Pause.] My classroom. I'm usually in there a few hours before and after classes in case someone needs to come by.

Clearly. How do you manage teaching when you have to deal with all those people?
I'll be sure to stop by if I need anything then. Keep you from getting too bored. [Being in there for so long every day sounds pretty drab after all.]

I've dealt with worst. [A certain tall, dark, and brooding father who has trouble showing his feelings.]
I'll hardly be bored here. Things are kind of interesting around here if you look for something to do.
Reply
Sounds exciting. [Awwe. Did he not get the adorable father/son basketball games her Dick does? That's too bad.]
Wouldn't know. [She smirks a little more.] First day, remember?
