Curses that your test should be tomorrow! Haha, not really. There's no way I'm going at midnight tonight. It'll be insane, and I doubt I'll have the energy. We're not planning to go until Friday or Saturday night. Not only do we think the crowds will have waned a bit, but there will be fewer little kids at a later showing. When I've made the mistake of going during the day, I've always gotten stuck next to some little kid who won't shut up.
Oh, and one of my other LJ friends is totally addicted to "Harper's Island". I actually wanted to check it out, but I kept forgetting all about it. Isn't it supposed to end soon, though? I wonder if I can catch the episodes online sometime.
Oh, don't get me wrong, some of the craziness is fun, for the very same reason you said so. What's not so fun is when you have a little kid two seats down from you going "Is that a dragon? Where's the dragon? Is the dragon coming back?" every five minutes, which is what happened when I went to see GoF.
Really? Of all the midnight showings I've gone to, I've never once had to deal with little kids. Maybe one or two obnoxious teenagers, but never little kids.
Anyway, apparently CBS.com has all the episodes of Harper's Island up for free if you're curious.
I've seen most of the premiers at the midnight showing or the day of the premier, but not this one. I'm probably going to see it at the IMAX on the 29th.

I don't know if you're still doing the Netflix thing now that you've moved, but they've got all the episodes up on the watch instantly section.

I still don't have my own Netflix account.
