I can't wait for the rest. I wonder which memory Hermione will first encounter, and I wonder now how many times she'll go in there, as she only has half an hour on her now.
I quite love Ron, and I'm glad its Kingsley and not Remus who's her boss, in a way. I mean, I love Remus, but seeing Kingsley in that role is quite unusual and refreshing.
Nice work, as always. :D

Yeah, I thought about going further...but I liked setting up first. ;)
I assume that Draco's statulike state isn't just from what he's been through, but because the majority of his thoughts are in the pensive and he isn't really himself without them... or something. Ahem. :P
Uh huh... perhaps ;)

I think before I write and post the next chapter I'm going to do more research. I have a lot of questions about the dynamics of the Pensieve and so I need to read more about what JKR has said in addition to reviewing the text.

One of my pet peeves in Draco/Hermione fanfic is when either Harry or Ron are turned into dicks. And yes, as we discussed, Remus ( ... )

And yeah? Have you found yourself a beta yet? Or maybe you haven't even started looking for one?
Also, I don't believe I mentioned this before, but I quite love how you explain what Hermione does. It's to the point, easy to understand for stupid people like myself and it's again, something new and refreshing. Very nice.
And I find myself more and more in love with your layout. It's so easy and just perfect. *secretly wants to ravage it*

I really sis. OUr glimpse at Malfoy in this was so raw. IT crept up on me like I could really see it all.
Maybe the the gaunt figure before her was the true reflection of Draco Malfoy: an empty, uncaring, unfeeling husk of a human being.
That was my favorite part among more of them, but that line. Yeah... that was it for me.
I love this.

I am more than enjoying it.
It is starting out so awesome and is really sucking me in.
I can't wait to see more of it, like I've already said. LOL! ;)

And I think they've cast Kingsley--a British actor (his name escapes me, but he's been good in a couple of films I've seen) -- I could have seen Samuel L. Jackson, but I'm not sure he could have done the accent!

one, that the Wizarding world and the Muggle world aren't that far removed, evidences by Hermione's Diet Coke
I think that Hermione, despite being part of the Wizard world now, would hold on to certain Muggle habits and "first loves" -- for some reason I just see her needing her Muggle junk-food fix!
and two, the actual use of research to write the details. It just makes it so much more of an enjoyable read for me.
I'm glad you appreciate that...I feel like this is the first fic where I've really *needed* to do that. My humor fics are so far removed from the events in canon that they exist on an entirely different level. I have done some research for them--but I have more flexibility.
This will be a much greater challenge.
I loved the idea of Hermione's chosen profession...a very unique branch of the Aurors. It made perfect sense that something like that would exist in ( ... )
