I am afraid I was quite busy after Christmas as Mr Huntley appears on the verge of moving up an echelon and this will most likely have implications for me as well. One must hope that they will of course be for the best.

This year's holiday season has been busy as ever with Mr Huntley's various business obligations. However we expect to be able to have a quiet family Christmas at home this 25th December for at least part of the day I suppose. Blaise, I should prefer it if we make arrangements now for when you are going to meet with Draco and myself after you return. I think it best if we have everything sorted ahead of time.

Blaise, dinner was lovely, but you really ought not to upset that silly little your girl friend. Of course I knew you were not serious but clearly she had no such understanding.

I am thoroughly appalled at the recent turn of events in Knockturn Alley. Such crude tactics, and Muggle ones to boot. Surely if Muggle-borns wish to prove themselves equal to Purebloods they should renounce the actions of such troublemaking Mudbl Muggle-borns as Mr Murphy.

I have no interest in what malicious rumours others spread about me. However I find it in decidedly poor taste to make disparaging remarks about my late mother in law.

There are times at which it is most prudent to refrain from responding to clearcut acts of provocation, especially when they are meant with the utmost of malice aforethought. In such instances it is always vital to consider the source.

It was a very good thing to see my fellow Slytherins this past week-end, although I do wish it could have been under less tragic circumstances. I am sure dark times lie ahead still but we must all be strong and rely on one another.
