Happy Birthday to me. I'm 24. Thank you for all your well-wishes so far, and for those yet to come, en route to arrive, forgotten about, etc.
My first full day of 21-year-old adulthood was Sept. 11, 2001. I'm still one year away from lower car insurance.

So, the Paola Roots Festival (www.rootsfestival.org) was this weekend, Friday and Saturday. It’s a neat event, really: Essentially a carnival, with food vendors, crafts and other items for sale, games and other little stuff for kids, all contained on Paola’s Park Square and its surrounding streets ( Read more... )
