a boy once said to me
upon my waking in his bed of a random winter morning
your skin ... in this light ...
like marble
so perfectand the words froze in my mind ( Read more... )

I like these the best so far. mebbe it's because they are all starry eyed.

good. that's all.

i am without words this night. but i am full of pain.

we shall have to meet again... perhaps?

just don't call me a catalyst. that's a label too hard for me to bear.

confusingly yours,

we shall surely meet again.

please don't take any offense or think that the "you" i'm addressing is you... it's maybe someone, but not always, and not you in particular. actually... you know more about me than most people probably do, except my good friends.

i did want to borrow pieces of our conversation though, because they made me think... but as carrie said, starry-eyed thoughts, nothing too really sharp or pointy.

actually no offence was borrowed. i've been mildly worried about the impacts maybe made by tonight... nor did i suspect the you here was me. i am paranoid... but i have no quarrel with you anymore. I feel as though the bandaids were stripped away so natural healing can begin. (how's that for a metaphor?)

i am worried... but not overly so. I just have a lot on my mind - other than what has been said in all my conversations tonight. :)

sorry... i replied to that last night when i was half-asleep. i understand now what you were getting at. :P duh.

i imagine you're actually the only person who would really understand parts of that poem. :) heh heh. i think if anything, having another pov has made me open my eyes wider and be more wary... but that doesn't make you a catalyst, so don't worry. :)

hope all is well with you...
