In conclusion, the appraisal went much better than first thought. After a bumpy month I'm now performing well and supervisors are pleased with my work. The day returning from work after holiday is never a joy but today was painful. My worries to colleagues and case-workers were fulfilled. Not only had my team struggled without me but work was held back for the time I was back, negating cover and even purposing them to be inept. Today was quite possibly the worst day at work I've endured to date, which is saying quite something.
