Community Changes!
So remember this poll I made last week? Well, I didn't forget about it. I've just been a busy bee this week!
Anyways, the following changes will be going into effect starting with the posting of Week 44 tonight.
1.) Nominations for hp_awards... I haven't quite worked out the kinks here yet. I might just be nominating ALL the winning icons (including mod's choice) each week... I'll let you guys know what's decided and when I'll be nominating so you can watch!
2.) Base challenges are out! Sorry to those who really liked it. We'll try this out for a while, and we may end up bringing it back! You never know ;) For those who are quite sad about this, check out hp_stillness. It's an icontest dedicated to HP bases! They're in the middle of LIMS mode right now and you won't be able to participate, but once that is over you should have lots of basing fun!
3.) Hush challenges will be changed up a bit from now on. ie: Sometimes we'll provide a (few) cap(s), sometimes we'll provide a character. I think this will make things a little more interesting!
4.) We'll be doing a lims in the near future! Again, we'll have to work out the kinks (mostly the coinsiding deadlines) but we'll keep you updated! We WILL still run regular challenges while we have LIMS contests... So if you don't wish to particpate in LIMS, don't worry! There will still be regular contests!
5.) Annnd finally, we'll be doing some sort of icon of the month. When I post the results for my challenge next week, I'll include a poll asking for your favorite first place icon that week. once we have four weekly icons, there will be a monthly icon, and then a yearly icon... Oh what fun!
