8. I will try and find the title of this book. Was it published in Canada or HK? Do you remember the name of any character?

It's American, actually. I do not remember the name of any characters, only that it was written in first person and is a short story in a collection of short story geared for 12 or 13 year olds, IIRC. I think the editor of the collection is James Howe, of the Bunnicula fame, but I can't be sure.

Are all the stories in the collection about pirates?

It's not a collection about pirates, I don't think. I can't remember what any of the other stories were about though. Just the angst of being a tween or something. There might've also been a short story about this boy whose dad died and he carried his dad's ashes in his backpack and finally scattered them at a golf course. It's really weird because I remember WHERE I was when I read this book (in a certain Chinese restaurant in Vancovuer) but I cannot for the life of me remember what it's called.

5. I'll doublecheck but I think I've managed to download all of them from itunes except for #1, so if you could upload that, I would give you my firstborn child. You can name her after Sadie Parker Nickelhouse Doyle.
