ANYWAY, thank you. I really like Amelie, but I watched it so many times I came around to not liking it and then liking it again. So I understand where you're coming from, if you don't, and I'm glad that this story worked for you.

Thank you! I did not know that most illustration students have seen Amelie? If that is in fact true. I do not think Arthur is secretly you, but, you know, whatevs? But I am glad you enjoyed this!

Well, this was just amazing. I love loved this story. Eames was such a fun character to see through, Arthur was priceless. What really struck me this time around was the other characters. I loved how you sort of hinted at the intrigue happening with Mal and Dom and Ariadne--not too much detail, not too little, really well done. The point of view was just spectacular. Awesome, awesome fic.

I love the feel of this fic -- I don't know how, but it accurately captures how it feels to be a student at a university. It got me reliving my bumming-and-chilling days when I was an undergrad. Maybe it's the pace, and how it seems to take on events at a day's pace at a time? IDKHOWYOUDIDITBUTITISAMAZE.

How you painted the relationship between Ari and Mal was genius. Just. I don't even know what happened at the pub but I just know it's JUICY AS HELL AND I WANT IN ON THE INFO. HOW EAMES IS NOT ALL INTO IT OR THINKING IT AND LAUGHING IS BEYOND ME (but it does make him the bestest besty ever)!

The Eames/Amelie parallel was -- there are no words. NO WORDS, AND I HADN'T EVEN THOUGHT OF THAT WHILE WRITING THE PROMPT. JUST A;LDJFALD

(Will there possibly be a sequel to this bcs I don't want to twist your arm or anything -- that's mean and I would rather not have anyone punching you in the face and also I've been reading your fics since forever so this is already a dream within a dream come true -- but but but?)

Thank you! It was a fun prompt, I was really excited to write something for it, and waking up to your enthusiastic comment was A PLEASURE, I assure you. I'm especially glad you enjoyed the pacing--I find the pace of undergrad social life is in some ways very slow, like anything could happen at any time, I don't know. Maybe it was just my undergrad social life. And Ari/Mal! Honestly, if there was a sequel they'd probably start macking in some coat closet, sorry Cobb.

But...I'm sorry to say that there probably won't be a sequel, which I'm partly saying because I don't trust myself to follow through with sequels (see also: Arctic Dreams, which I've been considering writing a sequel to for ages; the Endless & Impossible 'verse, which has been owed its third story for...five months). And, uhm, I'm not surprised if people aren't 100% satisfied with this ending, but sometimes I like endings that leave potential intact /o\ Maybe the nonnie over at the kinkmeme will write something with a better ending? I am totally passing the buck here.
