A health scare and a road trip
Hello again friends and readers! Somehow it's been almost a month since my last post. (And here I thought I could write at least weekly!)
To my credit, we did take a road trip in early August, and I managed to stay off my computer for most of that time. My phone is another story, but I still greatly dislike "writing" on my phone, so I don't!

What we did last week...
This weekend continued the live music trend I've been trying to cultivate for some time now. (It won't continue, but getting out to concerts is finally back on my "easy to do" list of things!)

A working mom's July in Kingston
Looking back, I can't believe I used to post to this site every day. I guess time worked differently back then. (And I lived alone, or nearly, and wasn't responsible for a family and a household.)

A life update - more than 10 years later
Well, now that I've read every one of my old posts, I can provide any straggling readers (or new ones - welcome!) some life updates.

A concert warrants a post
This weekend I went to Howe Island Rockin' the Rock --- possibly the first time I've been to a music festival in 20 years (if not longer.)

Patrick is away working this weekend. I got Mary to take Emma for a few hours today so I could go do some shopping. Milestones - Emma has started walking...and she slept through the night last night, in her crib! Exciting stuff! :) Hopefully that trend will keep up. It's so nice having my bed back.
