Say you are unfortunate enough to be working on a Windows machine, using Outlook. Say you are also mistakingly working on a Word document that you opened straight from an attachment in Outlook (without doing a "save as"). Say you are saving the document as you go (still not doing a "save as").

Where would said file be located once it has been closed

Did you find it? ...do you remember the name of the document?
Try doing one of those 'search' or 'find' for file name or type...I don't remember if the search thing is off the Start menu...

Thanks for the advice! It's not anywhere though.I ckecked the OLK2 directory and did a full search. I am thinking maybe it is on the EXCHANGE server somewhere? Will talk to IT on Monday to find out.
