Okay. So. Today is day one. I am announcing it to the world so that this time, unlike the many other day ones I have been through, people will KNOW. I am very supportive of you and anyone else who wants to be more healthy and to eat better. But my one concern is that most of what you are talking about above when you talk about carbs is fast food and junk food. I can see what you're saying about adiction and how allowing any amount rather than cutting out carbs entirely is not possible for you, but I'm wondering if cutting out fast food and junk food completely would be a better solution? We all have different bodies and different metabolisms and apparently even our blood types have some effect on what we should and should not eat! But to me it seems impossible to expect to lose weight while eating out that much, even if you cut out carbs while eating out. If your goal is to both stop eating out and stop eating carbs, that would help for sure ( ... )

Let me put it this way - to me, bread and pasta are junkf oods. because they make my body do that hyperinsulinemia thing that my third link discusses ( ... )

Also, adding to that, studies are showing that switching your body into fat-burning (as opposed to sugar-burning) mode fights not jsut heart disease (as my other link showed) but cancer as well:

Pet foods have known this for years. They have veterinary diets meant for fighting cancer and they are high protein, low carb.
