Ok, so frosting cookies is hard work, even with store-bought icing and frosting tips. The gingerbreads were fairly easy to make but I'm NOT looking forward to frosting all of them. Gabe helped a bit so far but doesn't want to really do any more.

Gratitude day whatever
Today I'm grateful for neices and nephews. I'm pretty much decided no more kids for me; I'll just be the cool aunt and enjoy the growing family around me. -

Monday-liscious
Yesterday was win and awesome. We went up to Harmony bay for a couple of hours in the afternoon and played in huge waves. It was warm but windy so noone overheated. After that we were invited over to Brian and Lara's for a steak dinner which was delicious and lots of fun ( Read more... ) -
Gratitude continued
I am really grateful for the occasional morning where I get to sleep in, I really am. Ryan and I take turns with just about everything, especially things that involve Gabe, like getting up in the morning. Gratitude. I have a LOT to be thankful for, really I do. It's hard to see from beneath this pile of bills but I have been blessed in the past with so much. Hell, even right at this moment I've got a lot I'm grateful for. Today's gratitude is for my mom, who sent me 100$ so I could buy groceries. Again. -
Gratitude continues
Today I'm grateful for my pets; two loveable, chubby, happy cats and now Betsy, our shepard/collie mix puppy (8 months old). They're good to have around, even though the three of them are still getting used to each other; for pettin's and playing and cuddles when cold or sad. It's good.

Today I am grateful for my friends; friends who drive me places, who listen to my rants, who know how to make me laugh, to not take me too seriously, to know when to take me seriously, who love my son and treat him with respect and compassion, for friends that I can share with.
