Well... Maybe you're right, and maybe not, but I think I gave both you and Wapsie the wrong idea by my use of the term 'anniversary' - It's not that kind of thing (as in "we've been together for this long!" type event) at all. Sorry for the confusion. and vagueness. And, well, pretty much everything.
Now I feel dumb, but it's got me thinking in a different way, so thanks.
And thanks for the congratulations none the less, it's still sort ofrelevant, and I'll be certain to recall them when the actual 'been-together' anniversary comes to pass.
*hugs* But you're a big liar, in that 'we-cynics' thing, no? You're neither bitter nor cynical as far as I've seen. Or maybe you just hide it better, or feel it less or what not.
Damn straight it's something to remember. Ten years is longer than either my first or my current marriage. (Which reminds me, our anniversary's tomorrow.)
I say if someone's not full of angst, they're either a sociopath or not paying attention.
But do try to relax some, dude. :) Spring for a bottle of real champagne (the good-champagne buzz is brief but good and goofy) and toast that milestone.
Well... It's not that kind of 'anniversary' (and sorry for the confusion/vagueness, etc.) - M's and I have our anniversary in September (7 years, yay! Not quite a decade, tho'), and I doubt either one of use remember the exact day (I doubt he recalls even the month) and seen in that light, perhaps I am silly for remembering this far less-positive anniversary after all
