Ah, I am not NaNoing this year :-( With a root canal and 7 (count 'em) venues in November, I will not have time. I'm pretty out of ideas at the moment! But I wish you luck!

A root canal? Aw, c'mon, novel-writing-on-Vicoden is all the rage this year! ;)

Na, I understand. Better to admit you haven't got the time, rather than frustrate yourself trying to eck out a few hundred words each night in the wee hours of the morning, etc.

Thought about it... but I simply have too much work. (Which involves lots of writing, but not the free-creative sort.) Do they take donations?

And yeah, I have too much work too, but at least a quarter of it involves babysitting-with-a-computer, so writing can sometimes get done. Sometimes.

I've participated at least 5 out of 10 years and only won once. :)
