Well things seem to be going well for me lately. I'm making plans to buy a house. I have applied for several state jobs and have been told that I am practically a shoe-in for one at the SBI. Well, I found out today (er, actually yesterday now) that I just got my first full-time job, working security from 4pm-12am Mon-Fri at the RBC Center. The pay isn't steller but the benefits (insurance, Hockey season tickets, etc) and experience are worth it. Wow, two updates in one day...

So the LASIK procedure worked. I spent 1.5 hours doing paperwork and waiting for the Valium to kick in and less than 1 minute under the laser, and I could see without my glasses within minutes of walking out. Now if I can just convince my brain that I no longer have to wear glasses things will be perfect.

Well, for those of you that are interested I am having LASIK eye surgery today. I'm not sure why it is but for some reason all the clocks in my apartment have found the need to go extremely slow today. Ok, I need to vent about my experiences with trying to buy a used car. My credit union offers a car buying service where you tell them what you want and they find it at one of the dealerships they work with and get a discount for buying in bulk.
