I'm with you there. They've futzed around with the DVR thing so badly I swear we're better off geting a VCR & timer-recording our shows like we did back in the 80s & 90s.
I had very similar dealings as I described in an earlier post of my own. Basically after a week of arguing with the person whoever it was that answered the phone, I get a call the day the tech is supposed to come out to my house and see where the problem is. It's the tech and he asks if my internet was okay now.I said yes. It was running really slow. I told one person that the turtles in the commercial were moving faster than my internet! But basically there was an outage in a switch in the next neighborhood over from mine. HMMMM Of course everytime I called it had to be something wrong with my equipment. They were able to ping me. I asked them to check for packet speed and data loss. One person noted it was a bit slower than it should be.....but still it must be my router, because they don't cover euipment you put in on your own. And some of couldn't be smarter than their read along tech list that tells them what to do next. I found out they have to read from that script and put in the answers or you can't get transfered or make an
