He couldn't write me a letter because he'd have to put "Dear Sylvia" - and I'm not.
The things is, in the same episode where Christopher's denied 3 times, big deal, lights on him, he also says that Sylvia's completely changeable and has never believed anything for more than a minute. I've just realized that in the 3rd episode Christopher Tietjens, in being questioned about his fidelity by his brother, wife, and Wannop, is basically DENIED THREE TIMES LIKE CHRIST. -
