*hugs* perhaps you should look for a job locally? at like price chopper or the gas station or something that will provide some sort of steady income so you can eat. no one should have to go hungry. thats just not acceptable. are you living at the house this summer?

5:30am Labor Ready opens. I dunno when Manpower Professional opens in the morning, but supposedly they're temp labor too. Although, I'm just trying not to work with food 'cause I'm dripping snot... there are Mr. Subbs with "hiring" signs in at least two different parts of Troy, one right up on Hoosick even.

You can make it through this, and I'm sure your girlfriend will continue to be wonderful and supportive. For her birthday you should plan a fun day together, or something equally inexpensive. Go for a walk through Washington Park or something along those lines, simple, but nice, you know? I'm sure she'll love it. And good luck with everything.
