So here's what's up. I really wish I could go to school at Pratt. But it just wasn't meant to be... so I'm here. Getting a degree I won't use, but it's a degree none-the-less and my graduate work is what will really count. I pretty much went into this feeling that way... I had hopes for this program, but yeah, they've died

I'm sorry that you are disappointed with the program. I kinda understand, but I was able to get out. So I'm sorry. :(
But make the best of it while you are there, which I think you know, but I will remind you anyway. I am sure it will all turn out for the best.
I will be sure to to check out that shop when I get to NYC. It will be right around the corner from me...well close anyway. haha. I am really intrigued by things like that. There was a room in the Tate Modern here in London that just had chandelier things up. I probably could have spent forever in there just looking at them. Other people came in and stayed for a minute or two and then went off to look at other stuff. I enjoy paintings, especially those really good ones, but I seem to get tired of looking at them pretty quickly. But something 3-D like lighting or furniture or architecture (I ♥ architecture!!) I could study and look at and never get tired of. I love walking around London just to see the buildings. :)
