Haha. Today I ventured to Rochester with Stacie, Alisha, and her friend Megan so I could make it to a 2:00 interview at Carlson Library, and so my sister could go to the mall for school clothes. We didn't get on the road until later than planned, so I told Alisha, who was driving, to keep her speed at about 70 mph on the four lane so I wouldn't ( Read more... )

Scruffier than I???

P.S. It's ok. I completely understand (and in case you're wondering, my post had nothing to do with that).

Wow, now that's an adventure. I have to say I'm a bit jealous! :P

An interview at Carlson? For a job this fall? I'd believe it (by this point, I'd believe just about anything), but I didn't think that the departments would be hiring this early. Oh well, good luck!

P.S. Ah Carlson Library, my other other home away from home...

lol but I am. :P I can't say that my summer has had some true adventures, since I haven't left the island, but it has a few good stories and many a joke.

Cool. I plan on seeing and getting to know both you and Stacie better this fall (I hope we get to talk about things and have lots of laughs, since laughter rocks), but it's always good to see a familiar face and even better to see a friend's.

Yeah, whenever I had something to seriously sit down and think about, something I didn't want to or couldn't share, I always went to Carlson. Besides, it's much nicer (at least to me) than most other places on campus. (This might seem random, but have you seen the rock displays in Hutch?)
