I was once again reminded today that there are some lame ass douchebags out there that are incapable of being honest and straightforward and talking out problems. Or they are too much of a chicken shit to do so. I may be abrasive sometimes, but at least I get things straightened out. Is that too freakin much to ask of others

Some people are just /way/ too passive (and/or passive-aggressive). Like whoa. Like I find myself getting pushy just to try to snap them out of it. You should punch them. In front of the children, so they know it's okay.

The thought of you getting pushy is something I have a hard time comprehending, yet I can see you doing so in an extreme situation. And the punching thing made me laugh. The issue, in short, is my carpool mate doesn't want to carpool anymore, but is making excuses as to why and not explaining herself. My Rob suggested I "go to her house and slash her fuckin' tires, so when she gets up in the morning she has to call you and you can be like, 'too bad!'"
