You gotta love third and fourth generation "Italians" flying the Italian flag backwards out of car windows while driving down Memorial at insane speeds, honking horns and swearing at people who didn't join in with the unanimous cry of "ITALIA!!" while creating the most stressful traffic hazard I have ever driven in.

I was in Toronto with Aimee (and Larry and his wife) and we were on our way to the CN Tower when the game ended. We'd just left the Hockey Hall o' Fame, where the adjoining food court was closed for the game. Come on, it's just soccer, not a holiday. The city was dead and then, suddenly, flooded with screaming Italian fans blowing whistles, driving cars, yelling, screaming, etc. They filled up the streets and made a whole lotta noise. Coulda been fun if I liked soccer... or Italy.

You think fourth gen Italian fans are making a bit of a stretch to connect with their 'home' team? I was watching kids in turbans partying like we'd just won WWII, waving flags and shouting like anyone who wasn't part of the party had just missed something. Crazy.
