My mom and my sister and I stood in my kitchen for a while tonight and talked about how we've grown.

She let me smoke cigarettes in the kitchen, and I felt my age.

We left a week ago at 10 in the morning. Last night I had a dream that we stole colorful umbrellas from an outdoor marketplace in what felt like Morocco, or maybe India, and we learned to fly from the tops of trees with them.

I am constantly enamored.
