Aaah, Paris.

Would anyone like to take a picnic to Versailles with me? Because while the Château itself left me in an apoplectic revolutionary rage, the Park is lovely.

I hated Versailles. HATED it. But you're right, the Park is wonderful.

I was bored out of my mind. And I have been to many castles, stately homes, estates, etc. so I don't think it was me. ;)

Oh, I'm seething, anyway. But only in the sense of wanting to be there *as well as* rather than instead of.

When I went to Paris for a long day trip, we went to the Orsay, and I absolutely adored it. We saw Monet's "Waterlilies" too, which was fantastic.

And, yes, the gardens at Versailles are fabulously gorgeous. I would love to spend more time there, and in Paris in general.
