Watching Doctor Who on saturday confirmed a suspicion that germinated during the second episode, but which I cannot quite dispel.

Yes, strange as it may seem, Martha Jones is clearly the long-lost sister of The Mighty Boosh's Vince Noir.

Due to forgetting that the computer speakers are in use by every application on the laptop and not just iTunes, I just had the strange experience of watching the new intro to the BBC's Doctor Who website to a strangely appropriate backing track of the Super Furries' 'Hoetown Unicorn'...

Due to changing my module choices, I spent most of monday swotting up on post-structuralism and reading Barthes. I then spent most of monday evening being violently ill. Anna's wedding went off without a hitch (appart from the obvious one, of course) and the How Does it Feel style reception was very enjoyable, enhanced by delicious nibbles and rivers of free wine. I saw The Black Dahlia last night at the cinema.
