So, I owe you all an update. I have to say I don't know where to begin. Maybe this will be the first of many updates. First things first, work is hell. Absolute hell. 1. With a free account, you need to have the pictures elsewhere on the web before putting them in a post. "Photobucket" has been recommended to me as a free place to stash pics online.

I have no box office staff hired yet nor do i have a house manager hired.

2. I'm crazy enough to re-up as HM. (I actually called in December to see what was up, but your GM said they were going to decide that in January). Hell, I got nothing on my plate right now, so until performances started I could probably do box office too, perhaps buy you more time to hire a full staff. I'd also be happy to recommend box office-worthy folks to you.
If I'm not allowed back for some reason, or if you feel uncomfortable using LJ as a forum for this, then one of us can delete this comment, but otherwise I'd be happy to help you cross something off your list.

Actually, I hadn't considered that you would actually want to come back to the insanity!! I am posting an ad this week on the theatre alliance website for a house manager. Unfortunately, I get no say in who gets hired - my bosses want to do all that (which is fine with me). But, if you feel inclined, send stuff in and maybe you'll end my staff-needing woes :o)

I was initially going to tell you about the joys of Photobucket but I see now that Liam has beaten me to it.
Unless he has some sort of "black file of doom" at Philly Shakes I can vouch for him as a good HM as I worked with him last season. I mean, sometimes he shows up to work on PCP but really that just provides entertainment for the rest of the employees.
I hope the meeting of the parentals goes over with only minor incidents. I know too much to assume that this meeting will go without a hitch, lets hope that you only need to get minorly drunk afterwards and not totally smashed.
Quite happy to hear that you guys plan on spending some serious time in our neck of the woods. Maybe I was wrong but I had the impression that you were visiting for a week or so and then heading to Alaska. New plan (if it is indeed new) is much better in my humble opinion.
Glad to hear things are going well, give an older brother a call every once in a blue will ya?

Well, we have applied to places in CA and in AK. At this point, we just wait to hear from them and see who hires us. If we are lucky enough to get hired in more than one place than we can actually pick where we want to be. One way or the other we'll see you ... whether your area is our home base or whether we're on our way to Alaska. If thats the case we'll probably spend more time with you guys on the way back too. So many, many possibilities!!

You're absolutely right about the pre-dinner drinking ... I'm sure I'll arrive at dinner with two bottles of wine in hand and then I can float right through the whole experience!!

Yes, seeing you all this summer is going to be wonderful. We are really so excited about it!!
