I wish I could cast more powerful spells.

It was remarkable - not three days ago, I was over Indiana and it was 67° Fahrenheit!

How is the weather there? I heard I'm following a bit of rain, but I think that pressure system went to the southeast.

It's good to see that you're coming back safe and sound - and already planning your next project. Bees?

A roommate? Well, I should be able to manage that for a few days, at least. If they can "put up" with me.
Yes, bees! I'm guessing you've heard about the possible honey bee extinction?

I have heard about that... are you going to try and 'get to the bottom of it'? That sounds terribly interesting, though I can't say I'm very fond of being in close proximity with stinging insects.

(Except for the bit about naked people from last week or so. Clearly, we Tales are vainer than I had originally thought. Or less wise. Wouldn't someone feel foolish if their picture was removed from said Compendium and ended some place less becoming - say, their work place? But I digress.)
Well, I don't know about 'getting to the bottom of it', per se - I'm no miracle worker, but I read the other day that the popular belief behind their extinction is cell phone useage, and that's a load of hogwash if I've ever heard it.
That said, though, bees are very gentle creatures, Velvet! A few weeks ago, I stayed the night at the house of a beekeeper and his family. His bees were very nice - if you stood still, they would land on your fingers and crawl around a bit. Still, I don't blame you for worrying about the sting.

I think so too! My ninth grade teacher told me I was the first person to give commentary on the wardrobe clashing of Hester's red letter after reading the book for class!

...Well. I'm quite sure the Puritans did not foresee that particular aspect of wearing the letter.

I know! At least it could have been pink!

But The Pink Letter doesn't really have the same ring as The Scarlet Letter. And for that matter - did the Puritans even wear pink?

Don't tell anyone, but that's why I do it.
