awlook.
a whole month and five days since i went and cut a bunch of people from those i call friends.
and a whole two of them have even noticed.
and bothered to ask me what's what.
woohoo.

You know, many people don't check thier friends list very often. Tho when you realize that you aren't recieving friends-only posts, an eyebrow should go up. That is, if the person notices, which may take some time.

It could be, that, like me, they rarely look at their info page, thus not noticing for a while when people have added or dropped them.

thought so.
so yeah. first, don't worry about the email. life happens yo. i can dig it.
second, i know you don't use LJ anymore, but if you wanted to sign into your account that would mean that a] i'll know it's you when you leave a comment, as opposed to lookin at the ip address and playing a guessing game, and b] you'll be able to read the friends only entries, which have been in the majority lately. but hey, you're a big girl. it's your call.

it could be that they don't check their friend's list on their info page.
not even when someone throws up a post that says 'hey look, i don't feel valued, so i'm deleting a bunch of you chumps.'
or maybe they just don't read their friend's page at all, so they didn't see that post.
which would also explain why they didn't catch on when there were no posts for a month.

could be, or not.

i really can't say though, because these are people that don't talk to me anymore.
not here, not anywhere.
