[ Winry's Mayfield family will find that she's poofed since reading her letter from Santa. If anyone were to go looking for her, all they'd find is that the house's basement is locked. Winry is inside, dealing with the results of her letter to Santa. She finally found a phone and can be heard on the verge of tears on the phone. ]

I guess it's time to stop pretending. They got home.
That's good. They didn't deserve to be stuck in this place.

Okay, what did they do this time? Ed and Al are both droned, so obviously they did something really stupid again and got their dumb selves punished. This had better wear off in a day because I always feel so awkward having to smack that stupid droned Alchemy Freak around when he worries me like this!

[ Well, after getting over the initial trauma of losing her hand, Winry's dragged herself out of the self-pity corner. Sure, being one-handed is going to take a bit of getting used to, but she's not one who likes sitting around. ]
That's what I get... At least it looks like it's healing nicely....nngh... [ though, looking at it makes Winry cringe. ]

These... aren't very helpful. At all.
[ The sound of Winry slamming a book shut can be heard. Because of Mayfield wonkiness, she can't find the medical books that she wants in the library, which is beginning to frustrate her. The books she brought home don't have a scrap of medical knowledge in them. ]

[ immediately after getting back, Winry ran around town a bit just to assure herself that it was all there and back sure people were okay. Though it didn't take long for her exhaustion to catch up with her, and inspire her to go home and finish up with the phone. Besides, she was sure they'd be out checking up on people too. ]

It looks like I got a job as a waitress. Just in time for summer too. At least now I can stay busy. I know I can't be the only one though. Is anyone else working at the "Fast Food" place? It'd be nice if we all knew each other, just in case we need someone to cover a shift or something, right?
