Well its done and dusted! Mr Chevis and i have bought a house! A three bedroom new build that is currently about 6 feet high as it hasnt been built yet! Its quite exciting. We spent the weekend trying (unsuccessfully) to pick our kitchen units and carpets! These are very difficult choices apparently!!.....oh yeah it's in.....Newport!!! Eeeeep

Congratulations - sounds very exciting about your house! When is it going to be finished?

I love baking too - it's great fun. Earlier in the year (when I didn't have PhD work or a job!) I started going through my Mom's old recipe books from the 1950's and baked old fashioned things that are probably very bad for you but tasted good!

Should be finished in April so not too long now!. Gonna be weird moving to Newport, Ive lived in Cardiff for 14 years so it feels abit strange. Though we hope t will only be a few years and then we can move back to Cardiff.

I made maple and pecan cake today, it was a bit yummy!!!!

thanks! Its of corporation raod and right by the river. Its in a new estate thats just being built.
