In the movie Braveheart Robert the Bruce makes an off-hand comment to William Wallace, saying that "You make friends on both sides you'll end up dead."

Wallace responds with a simply statement. "We all end up dead."

The first 34 chapters are now in the notebooks for additional editing, and the first 20 have gone out to the beta readers. No feedback yet, but...whatever. Just seriously broke a guy's arm last night...with a stall door in an airport restroom. THAT may actually be a literary first, although I'm not going to claim it. Shipped out the first ten chapters of The Listener to the betas today. It's not bad, but I think I still need to tighten up the tension a little. I've added a couple of new villains, but I'm not sure how they cross paths with the good guys yet.
