We're ok. We don't have power, which means no heat and no hot water, and PECO isn't expecting we'll have it back until sometime tomorrow at the earliest. The shop is fine

*hug* You've got sympathy anyway - sometimes it's the little things that hurt the most. And Halloween is such a part of being a kid - and by extension, part of being a parent - that it's painful to miss that, too. I hope that your power comes back soon, and that the rest of the storm recovery goes smoothly! Hang in there...

*hug* Just because people are having a worse time than you are doesn't mean you aren't having a rough time. As a parent I am painfully aware that D is only this old, today. I have worked very hard to be at everything he is involved in. I have been very upset when I have had to miss out on anything. Since I know you are a wonderful mom, it makes perfect sense to me that you would be upset about missing Halloween with Mina or anything else with her. You and your family are in my prayers. I hope things improve soon.
