Have a Baby Shower to go to on Saturday night, Yes, I know that it's usually just a woman thing but I've actually been to several. Probably isn't something I should brag about. But when there is one in the family, all the guys are invited and we eat and gather in another room while the showery things are done like gifts and games. And there is ( Read more... )

LOL I enjoyed reading about your shopping experience. You should've told me and I could've helped you out beforehand. But it does sound like you got some nice things. Bottles are always nice to have...even if the woman isn't planning on bottle feeding. I hadn't planned on bottle feeding Kaiden, but ended up only being able to bottle feed. So it was a good thing that I had gotten some before he was born. Anyway, babies don't start eating solids until around 6 months, but the rice cereal should keep until then. And that's the first thing pediatricians tell you to start out with. So you did good. Let me know if you ever need any ideas for baby gifts. I'm quite experienced you know?! LOL

Thanks for responding, and if I knew it was going to be such a challenge I would asked you for some advice before I went shopping. *L* I began to feel a little stupid studying the couple aisles of baby stuff for so long. People were probably thinking, I sure hope he's not a father. LOL

I'm sure no one was thinking that! LOL A couple of weeks ago I was in WalMart and this man was looking for a long sleeved shirt that had cuffs that fold over the baby's hands to keep them from scratching themselves. Well, WalMart didn't have those...but they had long gowns that had them. Well, I was trying to explain to him about them and he was looking at me like he didn't have a clue. Finally, I just told him to trust me and that his wife would thank him when she didn't have to fuss with snaps or buttons during diaper changes at night. I try to help whenever I can. Not saying that I know everything, but I've got some experience. :o)
