As a heads-up... Ryan's birthday is this weekend and he'll be turning 21...
We'll be at the store all day Saturday, then heading off to dinner, just us. Following that however:

Considering how busy I've been as of late... Between work, and school and the store... There just hasn't been any real free-time, any real... "just me" time... So I set out to change that this weekend!

So... After work I headed to the store to work on finances and taxes and all kinds of "fun" stuff like that... Was out of there at 10P and headed straight to the gym. Figured a fast workout was better than no workout...

Monday -- Headed to class after work... (My school allows alumni to audit classes and brush up on skills, at no charge. VERY Handy for things like a degree in CAD, wherein the program is updated EVERY YEAR.) Now... I really like the teacher, he's knowledgeable and has insights which... Secured my right to bitch about politics this morning...
(I'm not going to lecture anyone about not voting... I honestly believe that the country would be a better place if people who weren't interested in voting and therefore weren't educated in who to vote for... Weren't pressured into voting. I'm just curious.)

Another weekend come and gone... I remember many years ago, when a weekend meant two days without responsibility or expectation...
Seems like a waste now!

The State of the Union...
evil_spork came by after work last night and after finishing up dinner, we sat down with mjollnirr and sparkling wine to watch President Obama's State of the Union... Overall, I enjoyed the speach...
