Ricky's out on the phone and i'm bored. So i came in to spill my guts. A routine that has become less and less of a nesissity for me. I used to use this as my sheild from the real world. The apartment complex I was living in a year ago caught on fire too. I lived in the building directly across from the building that went up in smoke. I came home from work at 3 AM only to have a police officer tell me that I was banned from my aparment because it was on fire. So I ran up the back way and grabbed a few things. I was panicking. The first and most important thing(s) to me were my school notebooks and textbooks, since finals were that following week. My life would've been ruined along with my grades, had I lost those things. I didn't bring any pictures or anything like that. I grabbed a sweater and a pair of jeans along with my school stuff and I was out of there. I spent the rest of that night sitting on my balcony watching the firefighters put out the fire. It fucked me up too, since I was so close to it all. I had a mild form of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder for a few months after that, and I had to move to a different building because it was depressing me to see a burnt down building every time I looked ( ... )
