Saw Thor on Saturday night. Although I hadn't intended to see it in 3D, there was a problem at the theater with our showing, so we got a free upgrade to the 3D version. I've just learned that Elisabeth Sladen passed away yesterday. Evidently she was struggling with cancer, but no one outside her family knew that. I didn't know her, of course; I'm just a fan. Portal 2 comes out next week. I was at first just a big fan of the Portal memes (yes, yes, it's a lie, I know), but when I got a copy of the game free with my new PC about a year ago, I realized that the game is pretty fantastic too, if short.
