While it is true that the plan stands the greatest chance to succeed if we were not discovered at all, if our presence is known then it is best if our opposition is unaware of our intentions. In fact, it is best if our opposition is unaware of our intentions, but believes that they are aware of our intentions.
If one of us is drawn into a duel again, and wins, I propose that we use the Penalty Game to cause the opponent to believe that they won and learned of our intentions. Of course, these will be entirely fabricated, and not mention you in any way. As the paladin was seen sabotaging the monorail, I think that it would not seem out of place if the opponent were made to believe that we are trying to rid the island of technology, perhaps for religious purposes. It could even be implied that we will attempt to destroy the power plant, which will draw the attention of those who would interfere with our objective.
It seem Jain acted before we were ready, as it were.
...And, as it stands, I agree with Freed's plan. It seems quite an apppropriate move in a situation such as this. Though it might need to be broadened somewhat, as there may be a chance that, if another one of ourselves are revealed - accidentally or otherwise -, the idea of destroying the island's technology for religious purposes may not hold ground.

What I want is a goddamn explanation.

I will take all blame for the attack on the monorail.

I will become your scapegoat.

I'm not letting this be jeopardized because you can't win a duel.

I have an idea that may allow us to turn this situation to our advantage.

...I see.
Fine. But before I do that. I want to see what move they're going to make.
If it becomes necessary, I will plant it myself.

I will worry about what story is planted, if it comes to that. Concentrate on cutting off the island.
