Well, I applied to an English teaching job in Japan, got an interview at the companies next recruitment blitz in November . . . can't wait! I think it will go well though. There is a good chance I will be working in Japan by next year, but the question is where! Hopefully not too far away from all my friends. Having an income again will be nice too ( Read more... )

I feel like I'm finally tearing away at the layers of myself I don't want anymore. Getting rid of distractions, regrets, bad thoughts, etc . . . I'm in no ways 50% there yet, but it's a start. I'm hoping by the end of the summer to be close to 60% there, but we'll see. Gotta get my life in order before I can move forward.

Well, I'm heading back to Japan from June 23rd until July 20th. For the most part I'd like to visit friends, but I'd also like to put out some resumes while I'm there. But where to start? The job is still going well, and I'm making good money, which is nice. I'm still paying off my bills (like my credit card, and school bills), but I'm keeping money for myself as well. So yeah, it's the 2nd week of work with the government now, and it's gotten a lot easier. It's good money and good hours. I've made more in one week than I made in one month at Best Buy. Got a new job. 40 hours/week, $14 an hour . . . doubled the pay I was making at Best Buy. Woot. This will really help out! I'll be able to take Japanese one time a week at IUSB as well, which will be nice. Since the job is only going until the end of the census in 2010, I'm going to keep looking for another job as well. But yay!
