Heh. Since my last post, I've also parked and then forgotten to put money in the meter. This was *after* I saw the parking police collecting meter money and giving tickets too. (Somehow I didn't get one though!)

Sigh.

Talked my way out of a speeding ticket today. :D (Yes, I was speeding. BUT, it was in the safety corridor- so I was going 65 in a 50 (which is sort of like not speeding in my opinion). Sometimes I absolutely can not wait for this summer to get here. I am so longing to be surrounded by birth and to be learning and helping!

Sometimes I dread it though and the thought of leaving my kiddo makes me feel ill.

Sometimes it all happens at once, and then I feel slightly euphoric and yet nauseous.

For fuck's sake! The BH just gutted a doll in the living room and the voicebox thing is malfunctioning and I am completely freaked out!

I just read that the new book comes out July 21st. I was really hoping it would come out before I leave Texas- that would have been nice reading material for the 10+ hours it will take me to get home.

Oh well.

It ITCHES!!! Like I'm having an allergic reaction type itching. No amount of slapping or the application of Lubriderm has stopped it!

Just so you know.

I just wrote a letter requesting my vacation and leave of absence from my job.

Suddenly this all seems more real.

I've just discovered that MANY of my ramblings haven't been visible to anyone but me. I'm not sure why though. I've messed around with the silly site for longer than is really interesting to me this morning and haven't been able to figure it out.
