"Lay, I think you should get out of here," Kris murmurs behind his boss, eyes watching the scene unfold before them. Although a wall of guards stood between Lay and the man, Kris didn't feel any safer. And although, he knew he should've thrown all his personal feelings and thoughts into a bag, he couldn't help it when his eyes followed after Tao, who stood a good distance from the man but was ready to pounce into action.

No. First priority is Lay. Kris stubbornly thinks, pushing away the unease squirming in his stomach. He hardens his emotions, erasing the image of Tao in his mind, and rolls his hands into tightly curled fists.

"Is that the affects of overdose?" Lay whispers to himself, eyes heavily concentrated onto the man in deep thought. Sighing, Lay turns to Kris and nods when his personal assistant urges him to evacuate.

So we don't know everything there is to this drug, yet, Lay thinks, pondering deliberately as his group ushers him out. He takes one last look behind him and pauses in his tracks. That boy, Lay murmurs seeing the side profile of the boy that he encountered in his hidden room standing near the walls. He watches the frown that worked itself onto the boyish face, and the calculating gaze that was focused onto the dance floor.

Odd, why isn't he running away? Lay thinks, a strange suspicion raising the hairs on the back of his neck. He truly seemed surprised when he walked through my hidden door, but the only way he could've found that door was if he was searching for something, Lay's eyes narrow as he motions for his guards, directing a slim finger towards the boy and his companion.

"I want you to bring them, especially the one with the light brown hair, to my apartment," Lay orders, wanting answers. They weren't their regular customers, that much he knew.

Having a hunch that he'll run into the handsome boy somewhere later down the road, being that the boy doesn't get killed here, Lay continues walking, disappearing into the shadows of the back exit of the club.

Tao was furious. No, he was beyond furious.

Damn intoxicated bastard is ripping everyone apart, Tao hisses, watching as the last guard of the club falls onto his knees, gasping as a metal pole juts out of his stomach. Twirling his knife in his hands, he throws the blade towards his opponent, eyes narrowing as it imbeds successfully onto the thigh. Tao doesn't hesitate though. He picks up a fairly long metal pole near his feet and twirls it around; getting his hands and body used to the new weapon.

"I'll cover," LuHan murmurs next to him, a bloody discarded gun suddenly in his hands.

Taking two steps, using the distraction of LuHan's bullets whizzing by to hit the man squarely in the chest, Tao turns once and lashes out with the pole, which smacks his opponent straight across the face.

That probably broke some bones, Tao mutters, quickly moving into a defensive position.

To his, and LuHan's, amazement, the man staggers a few steps but quickly recovers, the metal pole falling from the bloody hand and onto the ground with a loud clatter. Staring down at the bullet holes in his chest and reaching up to feel the rapidly swelling face, he turns to meet Tao's heated gaze.

Pain was clearly present behind the enlarged eyes, but Tao and LuHan could see that all rational and logical thoughts were incoherent in the man's inebriated system. Their opponent was set on one thing, and one thing only; blood. Nothing else, even the heavy amount of damage he has received, mattered to him. The Blood Wine had completely soaked into his mind.

"Aim for his head!" Tao yells, moving to dodge a punch aimed for his head, "It'll be the fastest way to take him down!" Subduing him without killing him was near impossible. The speed of the man was twice as fast as any trained martial artist, and judging by the way a fully grown man could be taken down so easily, Tao could only guess the strength that a single punch held.

Catching his breath, Tao eyes the man as he stood a good distance away. He watches as the intoxicated man looks to him, and then to LuHan, but then suddenly snaps his head to stare at something behind him. A girl, crouched and shivering with fear near a dead body of guard, stares with blank terror as the man approaches her with a crooked smile.

You have to be kidding me, Tao hisses. He springs towards the girl as LuHan fires a round of bullets to keep their opponent busy. Successfully grabbing the girl, he jerks her up to her stiletto clad feet and pushes her towards the doors, ignore the tear stricken face and shriek of fright. Letting out a soft sigh, Tao eyes the now empty club, and twirls the weapon in his hands to gain momentum. He swings with all his might and jumps to slam it against the blood hungry man standing a few feet from him.

Crap, Tao thinks as he quickly moves to block a kick aimed at his chest with the pole. He coughs as he focuses his blurry vision to find himself sprawled over a table. That one kick landed him half-way across the club.

If I hadn't blocked that... Tao whispers, not wanting to finish his thought. Wiping the blood from the corner of his lips, he winces as he feels the throbbing of broken ribs. Ignoring the pain, his grip on the pole tightens as he dashes over towards the man and his struggling companion.

Although LuHan was a good fighter, he stood no chance against the intoxicated Blood Wine user. With sweat running down his neck, and breath coming in short gasps, LuHan's energy and speed was decreasing rapidly. He aimed furiously while dodging every attack the man threw at him, but his bullets could not hit its mark. And if it did, it wasn't hitting the head like he wanted it to.

Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. LuHan curses, unable to stop to turn the dial on the U7600A-Pistol in his hands. Currently it was set to the Standard mode, but if he could just have the moment to turn one simple knob to the Influx mode, he could probably do more damage to the man. But he was having a hard time trying to dodge the attacks as it was. He's so damn fast, damn it!

"LuHan, duck!" Tao orders. And LuHan does, just fast enough as a metal pole brushes over his head to hit their opponent across the stomach. Stealthily, LuHan brings up his gun, and points at the knife that was still imbedded in the thigh. Bringing the man onto his knees as his bullet hits the knife, LuHan slips the dial to the Influx mode, and aims the final bullet at the man's head.

A clear shot echoes through the now empty club as blood trickles down the forehead and past the blood-shot eyes. The man, body pulsing slowly to his death under the heavy influence of Blood Wine, slumps forward as he takes his final breath. Like the rest of the bodies that littered the club floors, the man stays lying face down, a pool of blood gradually enlarging around him.

Relief washes over LuHan, but a frown soon follows that feeling.

He never pulled his trigger.

Having the same thoughts as him, Tao looks past LuHan at the young boy that stood at the back of the club; a SFX900C-Revolver in his hands and aimed at the dead man just beyond LuHan.

"Who are you?" Tao questions aloud, standing straight but his grip on the metal pole in his hands unrelenting. His eyes narrow slightly as he sees one of Lay's men fighting hand-to-hand combat with who seemed to be the young boy's companion. Grabbing the gun in LuHan's hands, much to the older man's retort, Tao aims it at the boys. If Lay's guards were fighting them, then they couldn't be good news.

Getting to his feet, LuHan slowly regains his breath and wipes his chin with the sleeve of his shirt. Taking a glance towards the duo, he swore he met the gaze of the black haired boy for a brief moment; something along the lines of electricity running down his back. The image of the handsome face and enthralling eyes kept playing in his head.

Younger boys are so not my cup of tea, LuHan denies, tearing his eyes away from the two boys; especially from the one that invoked an unknown desire in himself.

"Give me your names and who you are working for, or else I will shoot." Tao mutters.

Unfazed, with a final blow to the back of the neck, the last of Lay's men collapse to the ground like the rest, and the boys share a look and a quick whisper of words.

Growling, Tao drops the metal pole in his other hand and steadies the aim of the gun. "I gave you warning," he hisses, finger pulling the trigger.

As the first bullet sailed through the air, a mixed feeling of painful concern and awe stormed through LuHan's body.

He hid the secret bubble of worry that clogged his throat. The hope that the dark-haired boy wouldn't get injured was scratching at his mind, as his fingers even twitched to rip the gun out of Tao's hand. Don't do anything just for a spur of the moment-fleeting feeling of sexual attraction. You're smarter than that, LuHan.

It took quite an effort in himself to suppress the need to keep the boy safe.

However, to LuHan's surprise, the speed that the two boys carried were unparallel and far surpassed the average man. Tao was a skilled gunman, and for he to have troubles aiming at the boys, and the boys to have the speed and skill to dodge the bullets, left LuHan in curious wonder.

Swearing and chucking the gun away, Tao seethes quiet irritation and watches as the boys stealthily make their way through the doors of the club.

"You," Tao mutters, grabbing the front of one of the groaning guards that was fighting the young intruders, "why were you after them?"

"Sir," the guard whispers, eyes blinking furiously to clear his vision, "Boss had wanted us to capture the two and bring them to him."

Tao's brows knit together in confusion. "Why?"

"We weren't told why sir," the guard says before the grip on his shirt loosens.

Lay wanted them? LuHan thinks, also frowning. That boy? The image of the black haired boy's crystal-like eyes conjures up in his mind, leaving a fluttering beat in the pit of his stomach.

"Why him?" LuHan could only mutter, something along the lines of bitter dislike bubbling in his chest.

"Seems like everyone here has evacuated too," JoonMyun murmurs, peering into each booth of the VIP hall. "Must be a back exit somewhere."

"I don't think the CC(confirmation chip) is anywhere in this vicinity," KyungSoo says, shoulders dropping as the tension fades slightly.

"Let's head upstairs and see if the other guys found anything," JoonMyun says, gently ruffling KyungSoo's hair as he brushes past the younger boy. "I have a strange hunch they're going to get caught... in something," he mutters, frowning in worry. He had a feeling he shouldn't have paired Baekhyun and Chanyeol together. They always walked hand-in-hand with trouble.

Chanyeol dives low and scrambles to hide behind a counter with Baekhyun beside him. "Damn it, Byun Baekhyun, you are such an idiot! I told you to be careful!" Chanyeol hisses, fumbling with his gun.

Firing two shots, Baekhyun leans up and sits back down. "I was! You blew our cover and frickin' screamed like a girl!"

"Who wouldn't when someone fires three bullets right beside their head!" Chanyeol retorts, jumping as a bullet flies over.

They hadn't found the CC they were looking for, but had come across the club's registry files as well as the files to restricted and private transactions. Being Chanyeol, he whipped out his compact notebook strapped to his waist and quickly wired it to the main hard-drive. "Any information is valuable information!" he had whispered to Baekhyun when the other male complained that they were wasting time.

Just as Chanyeol was unplugging the cord from his device, Baekhyun suddenly started firing his gun spontaneously, the bullets whizzing just over Chanyeol's ear. The young genius swore the bullets fried some of his hair, to which Baekhyun muttered, "Be thankful I got rid of your hideous split-ends."

"You could've just told me that there were people cornering us!" Chanyeol says, not letting the topic go. He grips his gun and sets off the safety, leaning up over the counter to quickly relay a round of bullets.

"Actions say a million words," Baekhyun retorts, narrowing his eyes as his bullets finally hits a target. "They don't seem like your average guards," he murmurs, motioning for Chanyeol to follow him. His bullet had hit one of the two men that had followed them into the room, but as he had aimed for the heart, the man had quickly moved to only have the bullet lodged into his upper arm. As their opponents took shelter behind a couch, Baekhyun used the moment to escape, having Chanyeol obediently follow after him.

"The next time you do that, your ass is going to get a beating so hard, you won't be able to walk for a week," Chanyeol seethes as the two of them run cautiously down the dimly lit halls towards the stairs. He was truly annoyed that his hair had been damaged. Vanity, it was a scary thing.

"Earth to our residential genius, when was the last time you have ever beaten me in combat?" Baekhyun scoffs, leading the way down the stairs, "never, that's when."

Chanyeol grins slyly and tugs at the back of Baekhyun's shirt, stopping the gunman in his tracks. His lips hover beside Baekhyun's ear as he murmurs, "I never said I'll do it myself personally." His breath caresses Baekhyun's cheek like a feather, "remind me who's the one in charge of your practice stimulations again?" He smirks and moves past his friend, "If you think JongIn had it tough with that new trial version, I don't think you're in the position to be so cocky right now."

With that, he sticks his tongue out at Baekhyun to step down the stairs, greeting JoonMyun and KyungSoo silently as they meet half-way.

"Unfair bastard," Baekhyun breathes, scratching his cheek as he follows after his friend.
