I can't believe these characters have become so real in my subconscious, but... apparently, they have. I felt something reading this, a real, bittersweet sense of sorrow for them. As much as I respect the show's writers for daring to take such an emotionally brutal path, I really hate that we'll never get to see Wilson & Amber's love blossom and evolve.

It's not just them, though. Your phrasing is excellent here. I mean, this is classic you. This is where you still amaze me--you capture these subtle, wordless little moments so well. That you even think of them speaks oceans. There's such music in these lines as well:

Amber sat up in bed, her already pale features and flawless skin illuminated by the moonlight coming in. Her silhouette seemed clearer than usual, the gentle slope of her stomach and slow curves of her thighs dreamier.

Yes, I agree, that's definitely a talent... :)

what can i say-- it's a sickness i live my life vicariously through the lives of my favorite television characters. and it's true, i have SO MUCH Amber/Wilson in my head now! it sucks that there is only so much i can do with them when it comes to fic.
