you arent failing at life or uni

just coz you aren't succeeding by the parameters that other people have set for themselves, doesn't mean you are failing

it's a mindframe. u just need to find your place

however it sounds like you have some shit goin on atm, you should curl up in a warm duvet with some good dvds you havent already seen and a nice cup of tea/vat of ice cream/pack of doritoes and maybe have a good cry. but you should NOT take a gram of cocaine with the expressed aim of "stayin awake and working" because you know as well as i do that that is a stupid idea

I'm not succeeding by the parameters that people far, far more stupid than me have set. I am selling myself short through lack of discipline. Also my fear of failure mutates into a fear of trying and I am far far too harsh on myself.

I thought the cocaine would be a good idea. Faced with the prospect of writing several thousand words in less than 24 hours something that apparently keeps you awake and motivated seemed pretty ideal. However, it just makes you angry. Very very angry.
