Okay. I think I'm packed.

My personal gear is about 70 pounds, but doesn't include all the water I'll need.

My medical gear is another 80 or so.

My technical rescue gear is another 60 or so.

Now we hurry up and wait and see.

I got placed on the 2nd team to go out, first tier.

I would have been first out, but lack a passport, even though I can get one in 24 hours, this non profit group is being a bitch about it.

I just got offered a position(though I've got to apply with 10 people and hope for the slot) as a team leader on a search and rescue mission to Indonesia.

We'd leave in 7 days.
