• I cannot spell the word definitely without checking a dictionary. I don't know why.
  
  
• I don't know what a tablespoon looks like. Whenever a recipe calls for ingredients in a number of tablespoons, I eyeball it. I am often wrong.

I have been theorizing about the "definitely" case for years. It seems like there once was a time when it was alright to spell it "definately", and somewhere around 1987, they killed everyone who knew the truth and burnt the libraries.
